Vietravel Kicks Off Vietnam Tourism Roadshow in Shanghai.
Organised to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Vietnam–China diplomatic relations (1950–2025) and the Vietnam–China People-to-People Exchange Year 2025, the program carries profound outreach significance while marking the beginning of the second phase of Vietnam’s tourism promotion campaign in China in 2025. Participation in the Shanghai event enables Vietravel to reinforce its position as a bridge, bringing Vietnam’s destinations closer to a broad ecosystem of partners and local travellers.

Vietravel meets with leading delegations in the China Roadshow series, reinforcing ties in a high-potential tourism market.
With years of market experience, Vietravel focuses on introducing destinations tailored to Chinese travel preferences, along with a flexible product portfolio designed for different customer segments. By understanding consumer behaviour, travel motivations, and emerging trends, Vietravel develops a suitable range of tours, from leisure and cultural-culinary travel to MICE and premium experiences. Powered by a comprehensive service ecosystem - from transportation and tour guides to nationwide partner networks - Vietravel affirms its capability to meet demands in the Chinese market and remains a reliable partner in promoting Vietnam tourism.
In addition to product presentations, Vietravel participated in bilateral meetings to explore new cooperation trends. Key topics such as visa policies, aviation connections, infrastructure development, and innovative product models were approached from a practical perspective, enabling businesses of both countries to quickly identify shared needs and open new collaboration opportunities for 2026.
After concluding the activities in Shanghai, the delegation continued to Nanjing and Hangzhou, where working sessions were held with the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism, local tourism associations, the World Tourism Alliance (WTA), and major travel enterprises. Activities focused on business meetings, trade exchanges, and cultural performances aimed at strengthening cultural connections. These two destinations allow Vietravel to further expand its cooperation network, generate additional business opportunities, and amplify the image of Vietnamese tourism in China, a market with strong growth and significant potential for inbound visitors.
The three-city journey through Shanghai - Nanjing - Hangzhou not only highlights efforts to promote destinations within an important market but also reflects Vietravel’s commitment to supporting Vietnam’s tourism industry in expanding markets, enhancing product quality, and reinforcing the image of “Vietnam - Timeless Charm” in the eyes of Chinese travellers.
